Membership in Honolulu is open to current and retired employees of the City and County of Honolulu, employees of Maui County, or residents of Kauai. Eligibility also extends to Aloha Pacific FCU employees, students, faculty, and staff of Hawaii Pacific University, or students, faculty, and staff of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV). Additionally, members of the 9th Island Cultural Club of Las Vegas, members of Nevada PEP Inc., and members of over 2,800 Select Employee Groups (SEGs) including HGEA, Waipahu Community Association, COSTCO stores on Oahu, Sea Life Park Hawaii, AOAO Harbor Court, and Hawaii Pacific Health are eligible. Immediate family members or household members of existing members or qualifying employees, and organizations composed of such persons, can also join.
