Membership is open to individuals in the field of education (employee, retiree, student, or student's parent in most Hawaii schools, pre-K through 12th grade) or those affiliated with one of HawaiiUSA's 10,000+ Select Employee Groups (SEGs). Immediate family members of a current HawaiiUSA member are also eligible. The credit union also states its membership includes employees, retirees, students, and their parents of a majority of schools on Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai, as well as a large number of companies and associational groups.
