Membership is open to those who live or work in Illinois counties Boone, Cook (North of I-55), DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson, Will, and Winnebago. Eligibility also extends to employees of Exelon, Commonwealth Edison, any of their subsidiaries, Northwestern Memorial Healthcare or its subsidiaries, and Northwestern University employees, alumni, or students. Individuals working at Preferred Employer Groups or organizations are eligible, as are those related to a current First Northern Credit Union member.
