Who can join COPPER STATE
Membership at Copper State Credit Union is open to individuals who live, work, or worship in Maricopa, Gila, Navajo, Pima, Pinal, and Yavapai counties, as well as businesses and legal entities located in these counties. Additionally, persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in Phoenix, Arizona, within boundaries beginning at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and State Highway 101 are eligible. Employees and contractors of the State of Arizona and its governmental units (excluding state colleges/universities), employees of Safeway Stores, Inc. and affiliated companies in the Phoenix Division (now Albertson’s), and individual employees, volunteers, and donors to The Foster Alliance (formerly AZ Helping Hands) and Child Crisis Arizona are also eligible. Immediate family or household members of an existing member, and surviving spouses of deceased members, may also join. All Arizona residents can join by opening a savings account with a minimum $5 deposit.
